Vastu Dosha

Our home is where we all go for rest and comfort after a long tiring day. In ancient India, there was a science of house construction wherein the energies of different directions were harnessed to create positivity in our homes. But due to improper home construction, we create a negative environment in the house. Hence Vastu is essential. Vastu creates a living space in harmony with one’s surroundings. It involves orienting a building according to Vastu Shashtra and siting it according to Vastu Purusha Mandala. The main objective of Vastu is to create a positive energy environment for the building and its occupants. Signs of a Vastu dosh are if you/ your family are feeling uneasy in your house, have unexplained health problems,  increased accidents at home, and have difficulty gaining success in ventures.

Vastu is that which is present in vastav. We draw energy from the following sources – 10% from food, 20% from the air, and 70% from our chakras. When all the above fail to give us the required energy for the functioning of our body, the universe has stored energy in different directions. North, East, West, and South directions hold different energies required for us, and we can use these directions to draw energy and live a healthy and happier life.

Vastu dosha occurs when we do not receive the required energies from these directions, which could happen because of improper construction of the house, improper placement of items inside the house, etc. Param Pujjya Bhaiyaji has explained everything about Vastu dosha in the following video.

In the following video, P.P. Bhaiyaji introduces us to Vastu. Talks about how to determine directions of a house and other details.
